On this beautiful Saturday here on the High Lonesome Plains of Wyoming, there is no sign of distress or worry. For miles and miles .....high lonesome plains...as far as the eye can see....clean....undisturbed.....ready for springtime.
On this beautiful spring day it might be worth remembering ......and then maybe doing something about your footprint. Yes.......your footprint.
I don't give a whit about if global warming is real or not. Does not matter!
If you think for one minute about global warming, you just wasted a minute of your life.
Instead...let me suggest something worth putting into your head that may produce a positive result. Where something good might actually happen, as opposed to creating more greenhouse gases with all the thinking your doing about global warming.
No matter what you "believe"......ya gotta admit what we are doing is wrong. It's just plain wrong, selfish, greedy, and intolerable. We Must Stop. We must remember to find simple solutions every time, not just some of the times.
There is only one way to do this....to make progress......start with yourself.
Start with educating your family. Break old habits.
Just Start....somewhere.....

Food waste is wrong too.
We used to feed it to pigs, but that's not allowed anymore.

Another thing we have here are UPVC windows, they need to be renewed,
unlike wooden ones, I wonder where we are going to dispose of them all?

They stopped it years ago. We used to send all the hotel and restaurant
food waste a 'Pig Swill.'
I think it has something to do with food standards.

The world is such a beautiful place, yet its being destroyed.. mainly because of greedy governments who refude to stop the industries who immit so much crap in to our world.
People who dont think that global warming is real..

People say it's Government that does these things...But Guess what Folks, this
Government is supposedly for the people, by the people...And guess who is paying for
all of what the Government does...Yep, you guessed it, The People. We need to take
control back of Our Government, We need to demand in no uncertain terms that Money
not be the end all and be all, Or it Will be the end of our planet as we know it. I am so
glad not to have children, the world that will follow the despoilers of these past years
will not be a pretty one... Sorry to everyone my computer goes into fits over youtube,
so I wasn't able to watch your clips.
Kudos for this blog, it hopefully makes people start thinking.

I tend to agree with you Misschoos....but like I said in the blog...in the end it doesn't matter. It is not governments job either. It is ours....the consumer.....we control what is brought to our tables....we must get involved in our day to day lives.....we must make fundamental changes in the ways in which we think. The rest will follow. Governments....planet....everything will follow if we start with each of us.

thank you for this blog! I don't believe in global warming. I do believe we all have to make some changes. When you go to the grocery store and they ask "paper or plastic?" choose paper....one simple choice. OR even better, buy the reusable bags that many stores offer!

Or reuse your paper grocery bags. Here, one store gives a 5-cent credit for using your own bag.
We need to be less greedy, better-educated and more discriminating consumers. Demand higher standards of products and their manufacturing processes. Don't settle for something because it's cheap, don't settle for anything that isn't healthy for you AND the planet.
Government WILL listen if everyone cared just a little bit more and not only cast their ballot in the voting booth but voted with their dollars with every purchase they make.
