I think the problems with the Chat Rooms may well be my fault.

I ventured in there from time to time when I first joined this site but I couldn't get the hang of it.

I often felt like a voyeur, a snooper, a nosey parker, a busy body trying to butt in on other people's conversations. It was pretty clear people in there knew one another really well and although one or two were welcoming it often felt like a private club who didn't want me as a member. I'm sure this wasn't true at all, I'm aware chat room talk moves very quickly and it's not always easy to spot every soul who comes in as well as keep up with the conversations - it's just the way I felt. It's also very difficult when you're a foreigner in a chat room. Language can be very difficult to follow even when we're all speaking English. As I'm British I found conversations including regional slang or even general everyday stuff about the States really hard to join in with. I did ask questions but they were often left hanging in the air - they might have seemed stupid questions, e.g. "What's Walmart?" - not really stupid when I was ignorant of the answer but to the average American it might have seemed I was a bit of a dunce. I gave up for a while and returned now and again out of curiosity but it never really felt like home to me.

So I settled in nicely in Blogland and recently moved to the Forums like a good little Angel with a subject I felt was more appropriate for that area of the site. Having had so much time to myself due to my ankle injury, after three weeks I've got to the point where boredom is in danger of setting in. It crossed my mind that I might give the chat rooms another go - for the simple point of view that I know a lot more folk here now, maybe I might meet some of them there?

To my dismay I log on this evening and my favourite Florida Mod has posted a very frustrated blog to the effect that he doesn't know why the hell the chat rooms aren't up and running - bless his heart, this is what he gets for being so damned helpful - everyone and his dog goes to him for the slightest problem - Chill Honey, Angel sends kisses

I'm thinking I need to clear some negative energy as my positivity since my accident is beginning to wane. I opened up my private emails today to find dates for a course I desperately want to do and don't have a clue how I'm going to get there. I need to pray someone will be able to drive me there and home because there's no way I'm going to be able to drive to at least the first 3 sessions. I log onto this site and there's no action in my email box except from potential scammers then I read there's also no action in the chat room.

Sorry chatroom guys, I think I jinxed it. I'm aware negative energy breeds and I can see it happening to me - it's getting me down and whereas I'd normally go out somewhere or at least be able to move freely from one room to another or from my home to the outside world - I'm bloody trapped here. I know that's negative in itself but trust me, I HAVE been seeing it as a time to rest, a haven, a place to heal for the last three weeks but I'm having a bad day today!

I think I need someone to make me smile - anyone! I need something or somebody to help lift my vibrations. I know as soon as I can laugh and smile I'll feel so much better and everything will turn out great.

I don't want to beg but I'm pretty much going to do that.

Please!!!! Someone make me laugh, I don't want to go to bed feeling like this.
