Reaping what we sow is particularly rewarding for most, but for a few who intentionally sow a couple of bad seeds along the way, nothing too excessive, just a few sneaky ones here and there, inevitably will have a bad harvest.

Eventually those bad seeds will start to rear their ugly heads because bad seeds have a habit of doing that as they can never produce a good harvest.

Bad seeds can often appear to be good on the outside, but in time, you can learn to spot them, and from what you have learned, you can make a difference and can sow a better crop.

Obviously we can all sow a bad seed at times and it’s not necessarily deliberate, as soon as we realise the damage caused, we can put it right.

Those who choose not to learn from a bad harvest are the ones who continue to sneak in the bad seeds, forever hoping that they will go unnoticed and they never learn as they sink lower and lower, rot starts to set in and the situation becomes irrecoverable.

And, a blog well worth reading, my friend....Not that it surprises me!

The thought came to my mind, while reading it..."That's probably why we have a process called "Weeding". (But first ya gotta know the difference between a GOOD seed and a WEED, huh!.

I sent ya a kudo...they're ALWAYS GOOD!

Fondly,

There are 7 things the Lord hates according to the Good Book.

They are named in Proverbs 6:16-19 I think.
Sowing discontent is one of them. The last I believe.

In Galatians 6:7 is the most famous quote....

All through Mathew Mark Luke and John, and many other places as well.....this principle is taught.

Your subject matter for this blog is excellent, and one of my favorites.....

Excellent blog!

If one withholds nutrients and and refuses to nurture the bad seeds, they will adapt - or wither and fade away.

If we could "weed out" the bad seeds in Society, I am sure this world would be a much Peaceful and better place to grow healthy crops .

A very interesting analogy. Some thoughts that you inspired...

My daddy loved gardening and took great pride in raising his own tomato plants from seeds. Some seeds he purchased, some he harvested from his own plants.

I can remember wondering why he would bother with some of the seeds. They seemed to be dark, hardened and shriveled while some were cleaner, brighter and more full. To me, the choice of which seeds to plant was obvious. But my daddy, being much older and wiser than I, knew that you can't always tell the good seeds by looking at them. Sometimes you had to plant them to see how they would grow.

Often, he said, the more appealing seeds turn out to be hollow inside and never flourish, while the seeds that appeared to be bad end up becoming lavish plants with bountiful harvests when they were nourished and allowed to thrive. The only way to know which seeds would be the most productive was to give each seed a chance to grow, remove the plants that were not healthy and most of all tend to your own garden.

Or another way to look at it:

I went to a garden party
To reminisce with my old friends
A chance to share old memories
And play our songs again
When I got to the garden party
They all knew my name
No one recognized me
I didn't look the same

But it's all right now
I learned my lesson well
You see, ya can't please everyone
So ya got to please yourself

hmmm, i gotta song for that

well, tears for fears:

High time we made a stand and shook up the views of the common man
And the lovetrain rides from coast to coast
D.Js the man we love the most
Could you be, could you be squeaky clean
And smash any hope of democracy ?
As the headline says youre free to choose
Theres egg on your face and mud on your shoes
One of these days they're gonna call it the blues

And anything is possible when youre sowing the seeds of love
Anything is possible - sowing the seeds of love

I never hope to see one;
But I can tell you -- jus' watch:
I'd rather see than be one!

Your everlasting summer
You can see it fading fast
So you grab a piece of something
That you think is gonna last
You wouldn't know a diamond
If you held it in your hand
The things you think are precious
I can't understand

Are you reelin' in the years
Stowin' away the time
Are you gatherin' up the tears
Have you had enough of mine
