I know I have been quiet, but life really has been kinda eating into my time these past few days. Seems like most of those I like to read have been quiet too; more real life getting in the way I guess.
So, here's the news:
Although the calendar says Thursday, it's really just another Saturday as I don't have to work. Having Jools' Nan over for the day; spent the afternoon watching an old Columbo and looking at pictures. I've had worse days. I baked a loaf of bread to go with the ham I bought this morning; nothing quite like the smell of fresh bread and brewing coffee to fire the taste buds. We are havig bangers and mash tonight, and then a slice of my baked vanilla cheesecake to floow. Man, that is good this time around.
Tomorrow I am going to choose my wedding suit; have no idea of colour or style; ut as Jools has not picked a dress; scrub that, looked at a dress yet, it's my call.
And then on Saturday we are heading to london for some photos; may sound a bit morbid, but we're heading to Kensal Green cemetary, which I have been told is amazing. Also a look at another Victorian market near London Bridge Station; and rounding off with a meal at a little Italian place we know in Soho.
Sunday it's our day for walking, and this time around Deal with it's castles and long beach. And the weather is supposed to be good. Have been to the butchers and have lamb burgers, garlic sausages as well as steak just in case.
Just to let you know I am still going to the gym, and apparently still losing weight.
Have a great weekend, friends.

There is a fabulous Italian restaurant in Angel. In fact there is a street full of restaurants there serving everything you could ever wish for.
I always judge an Italian restaurant by their ability to produce a good Carbonara, not the most difficult dish, but a lot of restaurants tend to skimp on the ingredients for that one, not a good idea.
If you ever get off at the Embankment, there's a small bagel shop just as you walk up the hill towards The Strand on the RHS.
AND there's a Chinese Take Away just opposite, it's less than a fiver to fill a tray.

Great to hear what's going on in your life. That's the "real" in "Real Life"...Besides, "Real" life is great...especially when you have your soon to be wife at your side....that's precious time!
By the time I finished reading your blog, I was STARVED....And, then, misschoos added to it. Please tell me what bangers and mash are, don't believe I've ever had them...Are they English?
By the way, Wedding Photos are often taken in Cemeteries.. They are usually BEAUTIFULLY landscaped. I had several Cemeteries and Memorial Gardens on my itineraries, to show my travelers, when I was a Tour Guide., great statuary, too.
Have NEVER had lamb burgers......dying to try them....tell us what cut of lamb to ask for and I'll do it...they've got to be delicious.....
You two will look fine at your Wedding...We KNOW that, for sure....Don't forget, we WILL be wanting pictures here, too.
Fondly, Knittin kitten Judy
