Wow, for them to respond so well, so quickly surely must be a good sign! And as
awful as it is, perhaps their suffering and story will shine light on this type of thing...
Thank goodness they were brought to you

I watched CSI's show with the ground squirrels being killed and while it was almost
unbearable to watch I thought of you and how maybe people would be moved by the
TV squirrels plight enough to care more about real life ones...One can Hope.

Kudos

Aw, the poor little things. I hope they recover enough to have a full, happy life there with you.

It's a shame something can't be done about the bad info out there. The best thing to do would be to try to make sure there was plenty of good information out there as well. I hope there are more good ones than bad.

Excellent blog.

I take it they were being feed cows milk? ( Maybe I skimmed over that part?)

We do try to help these creatures and instead sometimes we do more harm than good huh?

I hope that they make a recovery soon!

Cow's milk is only good for feeding calves. Poor babies!

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing...

So many times I've seen people give cow's milk right out of the carton to kittens, wild rabbits, lambs, puppies - you name it. C'mon, folks.. if you don't know what to do, find out.

Such a sad story. I can only hold out hope for them under your expert care.

Under your loving care they will become the best that they can be..Visualizing those poor babies dragging themselves across the floor of their cage words fail me..Bless you.

A very small sampling of people still advocate the use of cow's milk to feed these little guys and they have had their rehabilitation permits removed by the state they live in, but the myth persists, even on the Internet.

Some peoples kids...

I honestly never knew that cow's milk could affect a wild animal that way, or any animal actually so I'm glad that you wrote this blog.

...It is a shame when people with good intentions do the wrong things because of improper advice.

It's too bad that this web-site couldn't be shut down because I am sure there are other people who might have this same situation and do the same thing.

...I am so glad that there are people like you out there to take care of these little creatures and give them the help they need.
