Ive been on singles net about a month....as a free member, can only flirt with canned lines. Well been flirting with someone the whole time, and finally was really wanting to talk with this girl. So I joined tonight. Within a few short messages, she gave me her # to call. so I call. The girl mumbled, and went off on tangents. She seemed intelligent with her topics.....but kinda sounded retarded. I was like....omg I gotta get outa this!!!!!! Then she's asking me where I would take her on the first date.....Kept having to ask her what she was saying , because I couldnt follow the tangents she was going off on. Now Im a member there...and Im gonna stay for the month, and check out the profiles and see if I click with anyone there, but I know this chick is gonna harass me to talk to her.
Anyone with similar stories? This chick kinda scares me.....like a psycho!

Mike..sorry but I had to laugh! At least there was a person, I've had sites send great fake people until you join then they are gone. You have a grace period if you just joined tonight. Not sure what it anymore and I never join any paying sites now..

everytime you meet somebody on these sites...and respond to them....you take a chance.....lets just say ive been disappointed time and time again.....no real stalkers yet......but a few have put some worry in me.....why i keep tring......who knows......maybe i think one day...i might meet the right one.........cookie

Remember when you get online you have no clue who is really behind the monitor. I have had friends that have talked to people for months, even felt they had fond feelings and found out later they were fakes. So after telling them their most intimate feelings, they now feel like fools for devulging that information. I say don't get serious with anyone unless you meet them in person, behind the monitor they could be anyone.
