Bad Ned! Has PMF informed him how bad he has been yet??
I for one thank you for being able to type with an injured hand. What a woman!
I think ned needs to be informed about the saying, Don't bite the hand that feeds you".

I have seen first hand what a squirrel can do to a persons hand with their teeth and claws. It's some serious inuries that can be dealt out.
The injury I witnessed was due to a guy hand feeding a wild squirrel he had befriended. You just never know how a wild animal is going to react.
I hear you talk of handling these squirrels, and I have to say I am not sure I would be willing to handle, even the tamest of squirrles.
I hope you heal fast Sci. Sorry to hear Ned was a bad actor. paul

I am just another big, shinny, nut that has issues, with spelling squirrels.
Plus again I forgot ~*~ I need to tie a pink, bow on my little, unworthy, sissy pinkie finger.

Ooooo.... stiches !!! Wow... You're gonna have a really cool scar!!
I jest, some, but working with and around animals (especially angry squirrels) makes injuries of this sort - well - a pretty common rite of passage.
I could list all my injuries and brag about my scars... but that would only be hi-jacking - and - showing what a dummy I've been on many, many occasions.
So I'll just say: "heal friend" and hope that you got "officer's stiches"... you know: tiny ones.
(I guess we know who started that Big Fight)

Owwie that sounds painful! I hope you heal up quickly.
It's a good thing you have PMF there to do your typing, housework, yardwork, etc.

Sci....
What a bad boy Ned was and on Mother's Day nonetheless. My feelings are much the same as the others here, I wish you a speedy recovery and that once the stitches are out after the healing, your scar is barely visible.
Me thinks it is a good day for PMF to give you extra Mom's Day TLC!!!
Happy Mother's Day Lady.....

I'm sorry you got bit I know firsthand that all animals are unpredictable and are capable of having mood swings just like people. I had my first set of rabies shots at the age of 6 when they still gave them in the stomach

But on the other...ahem...hand *Groan*
when one considers intention, it seems that both did their job quite well. To see with another's perspective is oftentimes difficult but oh so enlightening... hmm... maybe, just maybe it ain't all about me?

Er...Happy Healing 'Mom'!
*stares passively at the small, white scar on her finger...surrounded by a narrow band of numbnessm courtesy of bunny-induced nerve damage*
At the time, the small pop of the freshly-ruptured blood vessel was actually kind of, well...COOL! In hindsight, the memory leaves me feeling a whiter shade of pale.

Get well soon...
