'Tis surely sadness that there be
The foulest of hypocrisy
Spewing forth on friends by friends;
The feeding frenzy never ends.

They burp, they squeak,
Yet swear they do not peek!
Such sputterings and mutters
Like old drunks that line the gutters.

O what a Fate has been returned
For these Love has most rightly spurned.
Who could e'er embrace such hate?
A good heart would but hesitate.

'Tis surely painful, such deep fears
Increasing as do passing years.
Only older, nothing more,
When jealousy is keeping score.

I am not sure what they see
Those old bats full of jealousy
I have to go, can't make a rhyme
For me it's way past my bedtime.

When you're jealous
Your face turns green
And by the world
It can be seen.

So just because
You're getting old
Doesn't mean you
That you should mold.

yes, it is past my bedtime

A stone of envy hard and keen -
Resentment shines an emerald green.
And tastes of bitterness so vile
The jaw clenched tight to choke down bile.

Like fruit that's picked before it's ripe,
The seed of jealousy grows spite.
Nothing left but acrid doubt,
Dead inside and sour without.

Thou shalt not covet...

The ugly face of jealousy
The two faces of hypocrisy
Accusations hurled about
First a whisper, then a shout

Pathetic lies from ragged lips
Hands firmly placed on spreading hips
Fingers wagging, but don't you see
How pitiful you appear to be?

I was never good at poetry,
I couldn't make it rhyme.
One thing I do know though,
I will age like good wine.

There are some people though,
that will never know.
The wonderful taste and smell,
that we all know.

Tis really sad when they cannot see,
That they themselves are full of jealousy.
They rant, they rave, they repeatedly shout,
But never see THEY are what they rant about.

Me thinks that those protesting so loud,
Should get their heads off their lofty clouds.
And live by Bond's motto: live and let live,
But that is asking for more than they care to give.
