The spiritual standard God has set for all who wish to measure up is perfection. To clear that level calls for a spotless record. In other words, no sin. Whoever qualifies, please step forward. . . . . . . No one? There was one man. He claimed to be God, then demonstrated it to perfection.

The best news is the good news of the Gospel.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son. (John 3:16)

Let your prayer continue, Through a joyous, waking spring, In thanking God for everything, A newborn spring can bring. (Helen Steiner Rice)

In the light of a King's face there is life, and His favor is like the clouds that bring the spring rain. (Proverbs 16:15)

Today, take a lesson from the season. Spring into action. Replenish your faith and refresh your soul.

There is something to be said for the old saying, "practice makes perfect".

We must "practice" being doers of the word, not just onlookers or "Sunday Christians". Perfection should be something we strive for everyday, to be more like Christ, the one perfect man.

Lord, thank you for coming down and showing us your face. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

Praise God!
