Yes, it has ended. We all had such a great time and nobody wanted the weekend to end. We have already started making plans for next year.

The biggest news from the camp out is that our own Luvvy and Duvvy who met here on MD, proposed to each other Saturday evening and will have their wedding at our camp out next year. Congratulations and best wishes to them.

I think we all agreed that the best thing about the gathering is that is wasn't like a group of strangers meeting for the first time, it was more like old friends having a reunion. We all hugged each other as soon as we arrived and instantly became one big family. There was so much talking, laughing, helping, caring and sharing it was just unbelievable. Friendships that will last a lifetime were made.

I believe the total count was 36 people from as far west as CA, as far east as OH, as far south as TX and FL and as far north as Canada. We all got along like it was a block party and we have all lived in the same neighborhood for years. All someone had to do was say that something needed to be done and there were more volunteers than jobs to do.

We sang, danced, told jokes, ate the greatest food and partied like there was no tomorrow. The campground that we stayed at loved us and is welcoming us back for next year. The hugs given when we got there was nothing compared to the hugging and tearful good-byes this morning as we packed up and slowly left the campground car by car. I know that I for one have a heart full of love for all of them that is breaking because we had to say good-bye. And yet I am so happy to know that 360 days from now I will see them all again. I can't wait.

We missed all who couldn't make it and hope to see them next year but we especially want to give a shout out to Sloriver. He made a 250 mile drive to sit for less than a half hour with us before he had to leave. I think he will get some special treatment when he gets there next year, he deserves it.

I am exhausted and sunburnt as many others are and I have so much more to tell you. I think the Mods may tell me in a few days to shut up but there is so much to tell that it will take that long to get it all out.
