This is Casey Dog reporting... Mama is so tired still, and can't seem to get her thoughts together so my little paws are typing on her puter.
When everyone got home from the airport Thur. night/ Friday morning, I was so happy. Two new people to spoil me! I took a special liking to Sign. I knew she would love me. (Doggy Smile) I slept with her, and kept her safe all night... What little was left of it.
The next morning, lots of people showed up, and I seen all of Mama's camping gear going out the door. I knew what was happening, WE WERE GOING CAMPING! 
When the doors on Mama's car opened, I was the first one in the front seat. Strangly, Mama kept telling me to get out, and go back in the house.  They kept leaving the door open, so I kept sneaking out and hopping in the car. The third time, Mama looked at Duvvy, and said "I just can't make her stay, she loves to go camping." Bless his wonderful heart, he said "OK".
When we got to the campground, Mama tied me up for about an hour. I HATE being tied up, even if she did bring me my own camping chair. 
When she let me loose, I walked the circle around the campsite, sniffed everyone in my new pack, and got to know some people. I found out who would spoil me and who would ignore me. Not many could ignore me though, cuz I am just so darn cute!
My nose was kept busy sniffing for dropped food. I soon learned that Graywolf "dropped" A LOT!  He wasn't fooling me, he was spoiling me, so I hung out with him a lot.
I really surprised everyone, I stayed within the boundaries of the camp. I would occasionally go do my walk around the edges of camp, come back and lay down under a table, in the shade. When it got dark, and I couldn't see who was coming into camp, I would bark to alert my pack that someone was coming. When they would tell me who they were, I would just lay back down. I was just making sure my pack was safe.
On Saturday morning, Mama got real hot in the cabin and asked Duvvy to please turn the heater off and open the door for some cool air. Well it didn't take me long to know that my duties had started.
I trotted down the road, went into camp, did my circle, and sat down to beg for breakfast. Mama and Duvvy just kept on sleeping, until Lisa went and woke them up.
I had a wonderful time, meeting all those new people. I got so much attention. At night though, it was COLD! Mama had to get me a blanket. Mama can't remember, and since I don't speak human very well, I can't tell you who, but the second night while sitting out around the fire, one of the ladies picked me up and let me lay on her belly. She told Mama that I was keeping her warm, but she was really keeping ME warm.
I walked my little short legs off all weekend, but it was worth it, I kept my pack safe! When I got home, I had to sleep for two whole days! I sure do miss everyone, I keep walking around looking for them. Mama says I look like a lost puppy... well DUH!!

I'm so glad you have Duvvy wrapped around your little paw so soon and you convinced him to let you come! It was nice to meet you, and you did a very good job of keeping us all safe.

aw Casey you are sooo precious 
Saturday morning she heard our laughter and since the cabin door was cracked she came up to keep us company till I got her mommy and new daddy up! I have never met a more precious animal in my life! And yes she stayed with us around the campfire!!! Amazing

Casey you are one of the sweetest and well behaved dogs I have seen in a long time. So glad you got to come along and met everyone. We are all looking forwarding to seeing you again next year.

Casewy my wonderful new doggie friend it was a pleasure to drop so much food but I did check with your Moma first to make sure it was okay. If you really want to know who that nice lady was who kept you so warm on Friday night I can tell you since I was sitting right next to them,  .
Look ofrward to you guarding our camp again next year, you were probably the reason that we did not get raided by racoons, they knew youwere alert and on duty and doing a wonderful job of keeping us all safe.

Casey,,you are a sweetheart and irresistable. How could we not take you to the camp site You were such a good guard and we never had to worry about you running away (not like my winston  ). Thank you for letting me hold you for awhile although I'm not the gal you are thinking about. Sure hope you can come next year...dogs like plane rides too

It was great having you along on the camp out Casey.  I didn't even mind when you jumped into my chair for a quick nap, it was bigger than yours so you had more room to get comfy. You did a great job guarding the camp and keeping it clean from food spills. I sure hope you can come next year.

Casey we were all glad you came to help us on the camp out. And it was great having you sleep with me and keep me warm while I was at your momma's house.
Gray funniest thing. I was reading your post about Casey keep away the bearcoons when I looked out my window and saw what I thought was a cat jump on the porch to eat cat food. But the tail was all wrong! I went to the door and it was a new little bearcoon. Where's Casey now?? LOL

Well Casey I am so sorry this is so late but reading al the blogs is hard to keep up with, I enjoyed our little walk around the camp and when you cam eto visit me in the cabin we had such a GREAT time. I can't wait to see you again have more walks and adventures..................
