Have you ever seen someone write something on here that you don't understand?
Boy, I can tell you I have. On occasion, I have even ASSUMED the meaning of a word or two.....and I was WRONG! Yes, I made an "ass" out of myself for assuming.
I must admit, I've seen several words on jentoblue's blogs that escaped me...usually they are slang terms...but since the first time I screwed up & made an assumption about something she typed on one of her blogs, I do not hesitate to write & ask anymore.
I've inquired with others, as well. Jennifer is not the only one I've asked. Based on that one time with her that I DIDN'T ask, I've never hesitated since. I can't recall a single time that I met up with someone who was rude or snide about my inquiry, either.
Yes, for the most part, this is a great online community with lots of very nice people in it. No, we can't all like all of the people all of the time, but it's great that we can MOSTLY all agree to disagree & keep on blogging, or chatting, or writing, or posting....or doing whatever it is we love doing here for whatever reason we do.
I just really think it's wise when you see something you don't understand to seek out the answer until you find it.....surely someone will be more than willing to help you!
With this, I will close leaving a salute & a huge thank you to all of our service men & women who have served our great country & with special thoughts for those we have lost as we again approach Memorial Day.

Most times I ignore when I see chit being stirred myself but last night I thought I'd give the benefit of doubt and try to enlighten another blogger. Did it work? I am not sure but I hope so.
There are some wonderful people on here and I'm glad I sat back and found who is real or at least MY kind of real. ~*~

While disparaging remarks continue to be made on another blog, I wish to add to my own thoughts & continued ponderings.
While I march to the beat of my own drummer, perhaps I have erroneously been lumped into the memo regarding those certain people who are persona non grata, not friend worthy, etc. And so goes life.
While using a SYMBOL that has unduly been attacked because it is primarily used by certain people… PEOPLE are also being unduly attacked because they use the symbol. To this end, I do not comprehend the “look at me I am good, I am gracious, I am kind” mentality that goes along with calling people
caddy, gossipy, silly men and women, that think they are masterful gods.
ridiculous idiots fools with their silly symbol. "~*~ People" are too full of yourselves to care how UGLY you are acting
With this said & done now, I will go back to my usual attempt to post only positive comments on my own blogs, as well as others. Yes, posting, commenting & reading here in the blogs on MD is my personal entertainment & “medicine”, as well. This particular subject has undeniably been blown out of proportion & prompted many of us who would typically not be so very vocal to become so.

In AA there's a saying that goes; ...
When the student is ready, the teacher will appear Can almost use that quote as an analogy. When someone is ready to truly sift through the piles of mud slung around there are indeed a lot of amazing, genuine caring peeps here in this world of MD, present company (Miss) included.
Sad part is that some are here to only bring chaos, rude remarks, and to try and boost their ego or lack there of.

Miss...
I just got home from a short trip. I think it is sad that so many people that believe they are righting a horrendous wrong (what the heck is up with that train of thought anyway????) turn into exactly what they BELIEVE they see in just a plain symbol used to denote creativity and appreciation to the author of a blog.(it is the same thing as a kudo, people, it is just that those of us that are friends want the author of the blog we are giving this symbol to, to know that it is OUR very own opinion .. this way they will know WE (those of us giving that symbol) are giving credit to them).
Can't those that feel this is such a terrible thing see what YOU BELIEVE is what is making it terrible to YOU AND THOSE THAT YOU CAN INCITE? This has been explained by the originator, by the Mod, by various others, to the point that I think it has become a manual on the subject.
Thank you Miss, for trying yet again to bring the truth about a simple symbol to light!
There is no underground hate group, there are no groups plotting evil demise for anyone for any reason? I mean, come on people, do we really need to start wars here? Isn't the one where our people are returning home with physical and emotional pains and tribulations not enough for you?
