My granddaughter, despite the fact that I told my children not to make me a grandmother before I actually had a life of my own, was born on May 28th, noonish.

She was 8 lbs 9oz, 19-1/2" long; and is, blessedly, a very quiet sort of baby. Well, at least, compared to the babies I had! lol

They named her Jasmin Jade Josephine Reynolds. Quite a large name for such a small bundle! My sister said it sounds like a pretentious actress. To which I replied "Good! Maybe she'll be a pretentious actress and take care of us all." Anyway, she's healthy and so is her mother, and that's what is important.

I'll be calling her Jade, as that is how she was presented to me before they added the name Jasmine at the beginning, and it seems to be a name she enjoys. Whenever I said her name in her first few hours, she'd calm down and look around for me. Can't argue with that! Not until she's a teenager, anyway. lol

So, for anyone who might have missed me, that is what I've been up to lately. Well, that and taking a severe course of antibiotics which is bound to mess up other bits of my health, but which will clear up some other bits. It's a balance!

After years of my stomach hurting even more than usual and my thyroid being affected by a bacterial infection, I finally found a doctor who listened. She had me tested and discovered I was suffering from H Pylori. Which, apparently, doesn't have any set symptoms and for many people there are no symptoms at all.

To me, the truly mysterious sounding aspect of it, though, is that once you have it, your tests will always show you have it even if you've been treated and cured. So, I don't know what happens if you get it again!

She says if I am still in that sort of pain, after the course of antibiotics is finished, she'll send me to a specialist.

Also, my computer is dead from hackers again. I really wish that woman would get it that I do not want the tattooed wonder anymore! I need my computer for my job and I so don't want to have to report her to the FBI and have a big criminal investigation. I mean, as annoying as she is, I don't think what she's done is as bad, or deserves the same punishment as, someone who hacks a utility company or somesuch. But, they would treat it as worse, because it's international and that makes her a cyber terrorist. That it is also a computer wherein business for a newspaper is conducted makes it worse again.

So, I hope if she's reading this, she pays attention this time: I am not interested in the man, anymore. He lied to me about you and I have more pride than some persons do, apparently. So, if she must bug someone I hope she'll go bug some of the several women he visits and has sexual relationships with (who already knew about her) and leave me, the one he's done neither with, alone! Geez!

*ahem* And lest any non-hackers read to much into them knowing about her, that is not an admission of anything related to the sort of relationships that generally revolve around such wording. He was not married, not living with, not having any sort of committed relationship with anyone.

What I meant is that she thought it was a committed relationship, and many of his other female friends knew that she was around and thought so. Whereas I, until she got up in my face about it, did not know she existed. He never mentioned her, except by way of saying that he is pursued by several women who want him, but that doesn't mean he wants them as more than friends.

Except for the hacking continuing, however, I am getting on with my life. I want nothing more to do with the subject of that man, his tattoos, or the women who want to own either!
