I got a fun book today
from over the seas
Has a secret love message
written inside just for me
It is a delightful thing
to hold in my hands
And She should know
I'm her most ardent fan.
Some of the poems
aren't too long
And a few have even
been set to song
I'm happy because
the book will help give
A tiny piece of life
back to kids trying to live.
I can help you get one
that is for sure
The book ain't the answer
it's not even a cure
The Suffering Children
and their families too
will know of your gift
and the thing that you do

I've been rather busy this week with the post
Sending the books out from coast to coast
I'm so glad you got it in such a good time
And happy that you like reading my rhyme
I've sent one to Tigger and one off to Roo
I've posted them all to a place called Pooh
And there's England, Scotland and Delaware
To a King no less, did you know one lives there? 
And now there's a new order arrived from your sister
I'm glad about that, I wouldn't like to have missed her
