Have you ever had just a stupid dream,,,, over and over,,,,

Not just for one night, but many times over the course of several years. I'll have it for a couple of nights, and some months later, I'll have it again.

I had it again last night.....

Running through something like an apartment complex, I am beating on the walls. (Like I was trying to get everyone out because the building was on fire, only I'm not,,,,just beating on the walls.)

When the tenants come out, they are always looking away from me. When they turn around, they become wide eyed with fear. Then their teeth fall out, like pouring chicklets out of box. No blood, just the teeth pouring from their mouth.

They look down, catch them in their hands,,,,and when all of the teeth are there,,,, they look up, meet my gaze, and then vaporize into dust.

After running through the complex,,,,I'm left in a goast town, with lots of apartments but no one left. Just little piles of dust, blown by the wind.

I wonder if this means I need to schedule an appointment at the dentist?

Yes, I've been having recurring dreams.... unpleasant dreams. I can barely remember when they first happened.... years ago for sure.

A dentist? You might want to invest in a good fire hose, fire escape, and dentures...

If you've been in some tramatic incident it sounds like some dreams vets have with PTSD.
If you want, email me.
I will be gone this afternoon so if I don't respond back immedicately I will when I return.
Keep the faith bro.

I'm not sure what traumatic is,,,as I think it is different for each person. The cell phone loosing it's battery power is traumatic for some people. To others, the drop of the stock market by 500 points, and they would be jumping off buildings. Still to others, the realization that he/she was not the person you thought they were, would be overwelming for weeks.

In the last year, I've seen and done some fairly horrible things, but does that mean I have a PTSD. After all, it didn't happen to me, I was just there. Perhaps some time at the library and doc is in order,,,,,, or I'll just have a drink.

Besides, this place is not nearly as fun when you are sober.

witnessing a traumatic act can cause PTSD.. I was diagnosed because of my recurring migraines .. they started when I started see my father beat the living hell out of his wife.. (hey didn't have a name for it back then, tho)..

probably wouldn't hurt to see a doctor tho..

I did a quick Google on "dream interpretations, teeth". the several sites I checked suggest that this not uncommon dream generally refers to communication - either too little as in not being able to say what needs to be said or too much as in being inclined to say more than is intended.

Interesting.
