Let's go to the top of the mountain, where I know there's a very nice bar,
You can sit and sing me my songs, to the air of your sweet guitar.
I'll get the beer and the snadwiches and perhaps a nice bottle of red,
And we can watch the sun go down as the moon comes up instead.
Then off to the beach to take a walk where we'll have some fish and chips,
And we'll sit on the bench on the promenade and look out at all the ships.
We'll lose ourselves to the ocean and the miles and miles of sky,
And sit under the stars until 'no time at all' and then we'll have to fly,
To The Bay to watch the tide wash in, pretty lights and hear the sea,
As it calls it's tune, in the light of the moon, and you whisper sweet nothings to me.
