Well Saturday I woke up early and took Glamourshots with my mom. Me, mom and dad first at IHOP. I had a Splashberry drink and Chicken Fajita ommlette. Its was great.
We first went to the mall to get the pictures done but we learned that they were gonna be taken at the Regency Inn and dad had thier truck taken to get the oil changed. We were like omg!. We hold of him though and finally got to the right place.
When we got to the hotel we went to the room that was having them done. We walk see a make up area and hairstyling area then a place where you have your picture done. It looked exciting. We sat there for a few moments then a lady got started doing my hair.
It took her probably 30 minutes straightening my hair alone. She sang along to her boom box while doing my hair. She put hair spray on my hair and I was like "OMG she gonna give me big hair!"
Then it was makeup! When I first got there there was a comp moniter with a screen saver of pictures of ppl she has prob "made up". One was a lady with her thong hanging out of her pants LOL.I just sat there with my eyes closed while she put my make up on. What it reminded me of is a car going through a car wash with all the bristle things touching it but your not getting wet. It almost felt like she was puttin a ton of makeup on me.
She handed me a mirror and I was like wow! I loved my hair and everything. I still have my hair straighten from Sat and wore my makeup to work that day. No one really noticed it though.:(
Then I went to get my "by myself" pictures done while mom was getting "prettied up".
The photographer told me,"What are looking for in the pictures?" I said," I dunno" I let her do what she thought look good.
She had me do 2 or 3 photos. Different outfits and poses for each one. I felt like I was one of the modeling shows because she told"Move your face this way and tilt that way."LOL. My favorite picture is the one where I'm holding a fake pearl necklace. I actually hated the picture at first but when they turned it black & white, it looks like an old advertisment for a necklace in like the 50's or something.
Then Me and mom took pictures together. My favorite one was the "fur coat" one! Then she took her "single pictures". My favorite one of here is the one where she looks like she's wearing a fancy fur dress and holding a rose. They made i look antique too. I think its really cute!
Gosh we won't get the pictures til August but when we get them. I'll put them on here
