OMG.. I did it again… I embarrassed my kid!
You’d think she’d be used to it by now, but nope… she says MOM! Or that long dragged out MOOOOOMMMMM…!!! You know with the voice that goes up and down..

What did I do that was so wrong???…. Ok I’ll tell ya! I sang while driving… oh I don’t mean just singing along. I mean the hole out and out singing along with the head bopping and maybe even some shoulder movement… It was a song I liked and well… I kind of get into it a bit… I get all into the music and just have a good time… it makes driving a bit more fun. Once one of her friends saw me driving home from work…. She told my daughter what I was doing… My daughter was so embarrassed! I told her, so what I wasn’t hurting anyone…

It’s worst when I’m on the high way… Or when one song in particular comes one… I have to admit, I can’t control it.. The song is “I want you to want me“, by Cheep Trick… I am totally oblivious to the cars around me…I watch the road, but sometimes I go faster, till I realize how fast I’m going then slow down till I realize how slow I’m going… I’ve had people speed around me and take off… The scary thing is while my song is on, I didn’t even know they were back there… I try not to do it on a crowded high way but, if there isn’t to many cars.. I let go and have a blast… I sing at the top of my lungs and bop and sway and shake my shoulders and tap my feet… Yuppers, I’m sure I look like quite the fool… Um.. …. Ah…… well……. Here’s the thing… I don’t care! I’m not hurting anyone, and I’m having a blast, so why not! Why not enjoy myself… Yes, I get caught from time to time.. I’ve had people I work with, or that I’ve known ask me if I was in such and such place at such and such time… I smile and say, was I doing something??? LOL.. I say oh well, that’s me, just enjoying my music while I drive… LOL…. Again, I’m totally oblivious.. I’ve even had them tell me they waved and I didn’t’ wave back… I have to explain that I wasn’t trying to be rude and I’m sorry if they thought that.. But I simply didn’t notice them. I was just too into the song at that moment in time…

So, if you’re the kind of person that would never do that…. You’re probably thinking, OMG, why would she tell anyone she does that…
If you’re the kind of person that does that too…. You’re thinking OMG.. I do that, I know what she means!
Either way… I found out again today, it still embarrasses my kid…LOL…
