It is summer, I'm not working, and I have all the time in the world. Why not blog again? Back when I was single, I blogged out of necessity. Who looks at your profile if you don't blog to attract attention? Not blogging for male attention now...so why bother?
I'm focusing on my writing this summer. I just sent a short story to a contest--I hope I do well--and I have been writing a serialized novel since march. I really enjoy the story (its a teen vampire soap opera) and being forced to update twice a week has been very good for me because it forces me to write. I hope that within a year it will start making money. right now I'm about $75 in the hole from the web hosting and advertising.
I have a lot of partial works I would like to finish--a murder mystery, a few fairy tale re-tellings...of course instead I write erotic fanfiction...oh well. I still have 2 and a half months.
If only I never had to go back to work...
