Sorry people but I have experienced and counseled tooooooooooo many who have REALLY gone through this. IT IS NOT A MATTER FOR JOKES, GAMES OR STUPIDITY on the internet. All the children on here who think death is funny need to crawl back into their holes and hope that when their time really comes that someone cares enough to send condolences to those they left behind. Maybe one day you will loose someone close to you and realize how horrible this experience is....that no one is laughing after the fact.

We know if someone resorts to that low tactic, there is something definitely wrong. I don't know those people who do such things, but I hope they get the help they obviously need .. NOW!
I'm sure there will be more "fake" deaths to report and I'm glad people are "outting" them. We need to understand who we are really dealing with online. Those types cannot be simply put on "block", there are many layers of issues that some therapist needs to resolve.
We are not qualified to deal with them, but we should encourage the people with anger, paranoia, abuse, mental or emotional issues, cheating or lying to get some help with a professional. I've said this a hundred times on here, get these people the help they need with encouragement and resources if they ask.

No it is not a funny matter...when she emailed me and said that the Justlkn died in her arms....I flashed back to my husband dying suddenly and only having time to hold his hand and tell him it was OK..... I foolishly sympathized with her and said if she needed to talk I was there.... I feel bad for the ones that thought they were very close to her and were so upset at her passing....... this was cruel to say the least.

but what can ya do about people like that? Can you prevent them from coming back under another name? Who's to say she isn't reading everything posted here now?
I think it's low, it's disgusting and Karma will for sure bite her in the butt dor this.
I'm sure we have all know someone how has passed from cancer or dying from it right now.
I think of Daisy and what she is feeling with one of her best friends in hospice right now dying from cancer. I don't know if I would be crying over something like this or ready to stomp some arse if given the opportunity.... probably the latter myself.
so.... if the guilty party is reading this.....

Good blog Maggie. Somehow I doubt that she even realizes that she needs mental help. I'm sure she is rationalizing all this as us as being mean to her. I believe she will see this as being about her and not what she did. The sorrow, empathy, grief, recollections of loved one's passing and anger that she caused for so many. She owes everyone an apology even if friendships were destroyed between her and so many. Some knew her well and others barely knew her but she targeted everyone. And yes, she is still here.

I don't know what is going on.....but I do know about death and dying. No, it is not funny or a laughing matter. I've lost many people that I love dearly and many more that I was only acquaintances with. You lose a piece of your heart with each one. Now, I, too, face an uncertain future. Believe me, when someone looks you in the face and says the words, "stage four cancer in both lungs," it changes your perspective on so many things. When I wake up weak, tired, and sick, even though I got plenty of sleep, and know that I just can't go into work because I'm too fatigued, one of my first thoughts is, "Is this the beginning of the end? Or will this be my last day here on earth?" I assume from reading your post and the comments that someone faked their own or someone else's death. That is not funny. There are too many of us out there that are staring Death down everyday we live. So far, I've won. Death has had to look away first. Some day though he will beat me. I'm leaving instructions behind for my son to let you all know. When you get that post, it will be no joke; it won't be fake. Hopefully, it will be a long time coming!
