I was in class today when i noticed a guy with well groomed hands. His nails where clean and shaped, but they where long, any women would have wanted them. what the heck are they doing on a guy?
the shape and cleaness is fine but when a guys nails are longer then mine that just is creepy. I dont understand why i think it is creepy. Am I the only one that thinks it is creepy for guys to have long nails?

Your definately not weird for finding it creepy. LoL...I too find it REALLY creepy. but i might just be cuz I'm healous their nails are prettier than mine! LoL

Why guys might have long nails -
Sometimes, I get on kicks where I play my guitar alot,,,,little accoustic job, nothing fancy. I like to finger roll it, and I need the nails on my right hand to be just a touch long, to do that well. Of course, I cut them back before a date, and hit them with a spongy file so they aren't sharp,,,,,
Second - THIS IS GROSS - SO BE WARNED - I keep at least the nails on my pinky just a touch long,,,cause my hands are so big, it's the only finger that will fit in my nose. TOLD YOU IT WAS GROSS,,,,
Ride along in dust and smoke for 12 hours a day, or spend 14 hours walking in a furniture plant, and see if you don't get just too damn much bagage in the hooter for some wimpy ass Klenex to handle.
Now I don't groom my hooter in the car, or on a date, etc. etc. etc.,,,,I try to be a little discrete about it..... but some days,,,, nothing better than dragging out one of those major blockages, feeling it pull half way up behind your eyeball,,,,, and then take a big breath through a clear passage......Now use your hanky to clean up,,,,
Grand-dad used to tell me,,,, it ain't if you pick your nose that counts,,,, it's where you put the bogger that counts.....
Now,,, some yogurt covered rasinetts would be good right now.....

Just another reason a guy might have long nails, depending on just how long they are, there are some fighting styles that use fingernails as a weapon and the person might be a tudent of that mojo.

I'm still giggling about birdsnage. That is funny and boy howdy do I know funny. Gross, yes, funny, absolutely. Long nails on men I feel the same as the rest of the gals in here, but I can see where there would be a place for them in some mens lives, obviously in birdsnage's life and I'm sure in many, many, many, many more, he's just honest enough to go for the full blown gross out. I declare him Friday's winner.
