This is a self administered, simple driving test, consisting of one question. Answer truthfully,,,,, and the results are nearly 100% accurate,,,,,,

Q. Are there more maniacs of the road, or are there more idiots on the road?

Memorize your answer, and check the answer key below. If you can't remember that much,,,,write it down on a scrap piece of paper....

A. Idiots - If you answered idiot, then you must understand that an idiot is anyone on the road driving slower than you. Now if there are just one or two idiots in your daily commute, then you are probably OK. If there are lots of idiots on the road, then you are driving too fast. Slow down. Your constant lane changing, and zooming up on the bumpers of people cause many accidnets. You are not going to get there any appreciable amount of time faster, and you are endagering everyone else on the road. You cut people off, and jump from lane to lane, thereby eliminating the stop distance that someone has worked so hard to maintain. Then when they hit you,,,you are the first to cry foul. Your reckless disregard for others on the road, is going to get you shot when you finnally cross the wrong car.

A. Maniacs - If you answered maniac, then you must understand that a maniac on the road is anyone who is driving faster than you. Now if there are just one or two maniacs in your daily commute, then you are probably OK. If there are lots, of maniacs on the road, then you are driving to slow. Speed up, and the get out of the left hand lanes. Put yourself in the right hand land. I don't care that the speed limit is 55mph, and you are doing 55mph, in the left hand lane,,,,because you have appointed yourself traffic cop with a rolling road block, you stop up traffic, incite others into road rage, and force other drivers to make lane changes to get around you. On the autobahn, there is no freaking speed limit, and they have less accidents, and less serious injuries, per mile driven, than on the US highways, or even just the interstate. There, they enforce strict lane discipline. This riding the left hand lane stuff, should be ticketed under the agressive driving rules,,,,passive agression is still agression. Your reckless disregard for others on the road, is going to get you shot when you finnally cross the wrong car.

Now hopefully, most of nice folks on MD, are in the catagory where they scratch their head, and truthfully say,,,,there are about the same amount of maniacs and idiots on the road. That's a nice balance, try to stay there. Understand that road rage is a real thing, and arguing or passing insults on the road is stupid, since the other guy has a 2000 to 3000 pound weapon in his hand, and could have a 9mm under the seat. I find it totally amazing to see someone yelling, screaming, using insulting jestures, etc..... (at someone in a 1972 Plymouth Tank with out insurance and tags),,,, while the video's are playing for the two car seats in the seat behind them.
