Yesterday my children & I took a walk to the river & bridge to see how the flooded river was. I took quiet I few pics of it. I added a few to my profile just to show how it looks. We may not have been as bad off as most of the other places but for us here this is the 1st flood in a 100 yrs to come to Janesville. I was thankful that my Mom was not living in the apartment building she use to live in cuz the water got to it. My children thought seeing a man pull a boat with another man in it kind of funny. My youngest asked me why there were so many cops walking around the river, I told her that they did that cuz some people do not listen to the 'Do Not Cross' yellow tape & get too close to the water & the cops didn't want anyone doing that. We have a park by the hospital here where they do the fireworks every year. Not going to happen this year, that whole park is underwater.
