So my son graduated from 8th grade and is headed to to high school in the fall. I have noticed him coming into his own lately and wanting to be more independent I have allowed him some more freedoms such as sleeping out during the week and letting him go on a a week long vacation starting this up coming Sunday with his best friend and his family. It has been a lil rough for me, I am not so used to being so alone so long as I knew he was in the house, I was fine. I dont know what I will do come college time.......ughhh...
I also started a new job today and that is a good thing although I had my self in such a frenzy and didnt sleep all night not knowing what to expect so when I got there today and completely blended in I felt like a weight was lifted, anxiety can be the worse.
I also think cause I let my son sleep out last night I was also feeling some kind of way. When I got home today my ex was here with my son and even though I am not crazy about him taking such liberties I do not mind him keeping a steady relationship with our child. And for the first time he was actually talking about getting his own apartment, you figured he would have at least offered some dinner, but no, I offered and we did WAWA 3 for $9.99 and then he had the gall to ask me for money....I was like WTFudge! I told him "NO" and sent him on his way!
Then the air kicked on ( we are on a budget timer and in the summer during the week it doesnt come on until after 7) and I finally crashed on my love seat while watching reruns of "Reno 911" with my son. I woke up to a note that said "Mom, went to Danny's be back by midnight, I'll call if I am sleeping out"
Perfect end to a new beginning, I cant wait to see what tomorrow brings...... 
Oh and my new kitty, Tiger Lily, turns out is a BOY, so now he is Tiger aka Einstein, as in my favorite genius. I just call him "AL" for short and he is driving me NUTZ.......climbs up my legs and digs the crap out of them and my living room curtains and the toilet paper and and and........but, he LOVES the shower, I give him a bath once a week with me. I wash his whole body and make sure no waters gets in his eyes, he loves and now just jumps in the when I am in there......
