Oh but it is a great idea.
Why oh why do folks in new relationships actually believe that .....now they are in the relationship.....they have access to personal e mails that this other person receives or writes. You know they have to have read every one of them if they responded to one.
A sample note:
Hi I am the new g/f b/f..... I will be replying to your e mails from now on or until we come up for air and the ruse is over and snooping is no longer fashionable then I will be gone. 
I went through this awhile back. It didn't last long. It became unfashionable almost immediately.
