I seen a dog the other day with shoes, hat and pretty little hairbows. Humm, now what one does in the comfort of one's home is your buisness but don't be walking any gay dogs by my property.
Funny, the owner of this poor animal looked a little light in the pants himself hence, man's best friend I wonder. It made me think about what exactly are these people's ah humm, animal ownership principles. Perhaps they haven't any children or maybe these poor animals are dressed as a reflection of some distorted childhood.
I think we need laws against cross dressing pets. After all, it's not like they have a choice in the matter. A butt's a butt in their eye's hence, one's choice of garments doesn't matter much other then to the owner.
Cats don't put up with this shit in case you haven't noticed. They're to slick for this crapola. You won't catch a cat out of house in anything other then their birthday suit.
In closing,
It's simply not rational to dress a pet for public display. Which one of us hasn't thrown a football helmet or sun glasses on our pets but only in the confines of our homes which is perfectly acceptable in pet ownership unwritten guidelines.
I'm putting forward Bill # 6718902, The Fair Pet Dress Act for Congressional approval which makes dressing a pet for public view a felony punishable by 30 days in jail followed by public caning.

Oh, my....thank you so much for the laugh! I needed it!
And I agree! I put my dog in a hat at my daughter's insistence. It lasted all of 2 minutes before Boo took it off and chewed it up. She made her point...

Cookie Ookie Wookie Sophie would like to address Congress, in an attempt to rally support for this Bill.
(After all, it's a REEEEELLLL turn on, for her to see dogs naked, and she runs around au naturel, and is hoping it gets the attention of some equally wise dog owner, for Mom, here).

Please tell me you have seen the movie "Best in Show" , thats even funnier then all those dogs walking around in outfits. I'll admit when I see one of my friends dogs with a bow in their hair I go over and pat them on the head saying look at that silly little bow mommy put on you. Poor dog
I will admit to putting my cat in stroller with a baby bonnet & a rattle JUST to take a picture of, he was not very happy

I guess I'm a crazy dog lady then because I will admit that my doggy wears clothes, no bows or shoes, but she does have a nice selection of t-shirts, sweaters, jackets and a dress or two. And as silly as it sounds she does choose to wear the stuff, she loves her winter jacket because it keeps her warm and she does pick out which stuff she wears, she knows if she wears stuff she gets more attention and everyone tells her how pretty she is lol. So I disagree with your attempt at a new law -Ash

omg...that was too funny! and I so agree. Even dog experts say you should never humanize a dog by dressing them up (a sweater in the winter is okay), and giving them people food, etc.
You never see the BIG DOGS dressed like that....hmmm,,,I wonder why. LOL
