So....this afternoon on my way home I stopped in at my favorite produce stand. Yup....they had one box of tomatoes waitin on me....only need another 3 or 4.... On arriving home I am thinking....do I really want to get the canner going for this small amount.... ....the alternative was to groom two sweet smelling vicious tzus.... Well no sooner do I start contemplating this than the thunder starts rolling in. Around this house thunder means aggitated doggies....all three of them....it used to be just Sophie....but....well....Nonie and Kee figured out that they get extra attention if they too are afraid of thunder so now they are as well.... Attempting to groom tzus who don't want to be groomed while they and Kee are all trying to crawl in my lap at once ( I sit on the floor during the grooming process ) was not going to be an option. I did debate doing nothing....but....well....that was yesterday's job.... So....I get going on the tomatoes....if you've ever done them you know they are one of the easiest things to can....and I realize....I have 3 very very very close helpers. I don't mind them being in the kitchen when I am working....but do they really need to be right under my feet....sleeping....all together....all at the same time.... Somehow I did manage to get all the tomatoes skinned and in the canner so on to the next job....packaging up some goodies for a friend....and they alllllll have to help with that one. Kee almost got taped to the box with pieces of Nonie and Sophie attached. Actually I think they were all trying to crawl into the box so they could be mailed to thier favorite Auntie....someone told them the clippers are coming out tomorrow evening.... And now that I am sitting and available for snuggles....where do you think those three have disappeared to....their couches and they are

The moral of this story....DO NOT GET KEE AND THE TZUS TO HELP WITH CANNING....
