During the school year my 14yr old daughter took 2nd in Communication Challenge in the TSA (Technology Student Association) State competition. This qualified her for Nationals in Orlando Florida. She has never been to Florida or flown for that matter. She was terrified, but she called me when they arrived and said that it wasn't so bad. They are to spend 7 days there competing with schools from the United States and Germany. I am very proud to say that she has made the top 10 finalist.  . I was so excited that I just had to come and blog about it.

Forget Florida. I'm a teacher and every so often we have students from our H. S. qualify for the National TSA Competition. If your daughter is in the top ten in the nation she has a great future in front of her. Great Job in raising your kid. Be Proud of her, you have every right.

TSA is one of the few curriculums that helps kids learn how to critically think and solve problems. These skills are lacking in most collage graduates. Kudo's to both her and you.
