My question to you guys is "Has anyone ever had any luck with these kind of sites?" I get messages and speak with alot of people....and then they just drop of the face of the earth....what are these people really looking for. I mean I dont have my heart set on meeting Prince Charming on here, but it would be nice, to even
meet someone that you could possible enjoy an evening out with every once in a while...ya know? Let me hear your thoughts!

met my fiance on this very site. I think the trick is to try and stay local and don't spend too much time on an email relationship. It can get pretty boring if you're too scared to meet.

First of all the whole internet is washed up as far as meeting people goes. Men want sex while promising love and commitment. And drop out after the first date if sex was not in the cards, and if sex was in the cards, then they stay for awhile until they find fresh meat. In the early stages, women were tempted away from their husbands and boyfriends under the false premise of getting a better mate. They were tricked by their friends and mothers that told them it's your vagina, and you don't want to end up like me, look at your father. Some women were successful at this game, they landed wealthy men, but there is no love, when their youth fades away, all the money in the world will not change the fact that they missed out on the chance to have a real loving relationship or a caring family unit. Over what, paper. What filthy trash. That is why I do not care at all. Caring in a society filled with deprivation. There's no point. Men want sex and women want the ultimate mate. Wake up, you all have been jaded by Lucifer.

I have met some wonderful women on dating sites like this over the years. In fact, I am having dinner tonight with one of them that I met over eight years ago and we are still close friends to this day.
These sites are just like meeting someone at church, on the street, at the bookstore, on the job etc. The only difference is exposure; you get a whole lot more of it here. You meet both winners and losers just like in other venues, just more of them.
Bottom line is that it is a numbers game. Meet enough people and you are bound to find a few good ones.

We all come across a variety of folks on the site. You find those you would rather just stay away from, you find some absolutely remarkable friends, and yes, some even find love!
I can personally say, I have made some awesome friends here AND I have found love!..We are to be married on October 11th! 
It DOES happen, and usually when you are not looking!..That sounds like a cliche' I know, but so very true.
The net is indeed a double edge sword where we can find the best of the best or the worst of the worst. Frustrating at times? ohhhh you betcha.  However, just keep having fun and making friends and it is all worth it in the end!

Although not me, personally. I married my next door neighbor. lol. Seriously..
I do have a very good friend who met her fiance through a service called Great Expectations though. She had nothing but good things to say..They are both very attractive and both agreed that they would not have met under different circumstances.. they said it was a great experience. Not only did they make good friends and have fun going to local events; they found eachother!
So, yeah.. if I were single and I were contemplating where to go, they'd be the first place I'd check into.. Hope this helped a little..
