Sometimes things happen that of course we have no control over.....But once they happen it makes you stop, take a deep breath, and really think about how precious life really is.
Over this holiday weekend, a friend of mine from high school who I haven't really kept in touch with died in a car accident. apparently she lost control of her vehicle and was ejected from it. She wasn't wearing her seatbelt. I seen this friend a few times here and there since school and we always caught up with what was going on in our lives. The last time was a month ago and we exchanged phone numbers to get together and have lunch or soemthing. Neither of us called the other. Now its too late.
This girl was a couple years younger than me, and has left behind a fiance and a little boy. I can't imagine the greif they are going through.
I have always been a careful driver, and I always wear my seatbelt but this is a wake up call for me. Life is too short to take things for granted. . The fact is we all need to stop and think about what we have. Dont' take it for granted, and don't think "Well I have the rest of my life to do this" Because we might not. Things could happen this afternoon, or tomorrow, next week, or even 20 years from now. The truth is, we have no idea when things are over for us. So live life to the fullest, and live each day as if its your last!

I don't think you should live each day like it's your last. I think you should live it keeping in mind that there could be a tomorrow. Especially, when you have children that depend on you. Just my opinion.

It's one thing to have someone you know die in an accident. I've had a classmate wreck on his motorcycle, and died upon impact with a tree on the side of the road.
However, it's another thing when you've had people you know kill themselves. I've had a teacher and a friend in school who just took their own lives. Neither one showed any peculiar signs the day before they took their own lives. That makes me wonder what happened in their lives to just give up on it all.

That is such a sad story. As I have said before, Tommorrow is promised to no one, you must treat each other well, as you never know if tommorrow will be there for you or not. People think they have plenty of time to fix mishaps, or fights, or whatever is wrong with their lives, and they just don't have it sometimes. I'm sorry for you loss. tc Lost
