There was a blog on here earlier talking about christians and how they should shut up about when it comes to hell. Funny, People are always concerning themselves with what other people say. My question is why do they care? If this individual does not want to believe in hell then so be it. But why complain that others do?
Listen nonchristians, christians believe in hell. Doesn't mean you nonchristians have to but don't put down christians cause they do. If you do not like christians talking about christianity then don't listen to them. There is no gun to your head forcing you. It is no different then hearing a person who is a vegetarian talking about how bad meat is. I love to eat meat. So when vegetarians talk about how bad meat is I ignore them. I certainly don't put them down for their beliefs or way of life. Many people in your life are going to say things you don't agree with. Instead of getting mad about it, just ignore it and move on.
I know at times some of us christians can get carried with how we talk to people who are nonchristians. But hey, we are only christians and we are not perfect. We are only forgiven. If we christians were perfect all the time then we would all be called Jesus. But since we are mere mortals you will have to accept the fact that we can and will make mistakes. Some of us make a lot more then others. We just happen to love Jesus while we make those mistakes.

If Christians believe in their Bible they have to take the good with the bad, Hell is pretty depressing to say the very least, but it's in there and you can't pick and choose just the happy parts of the Bible you wish to believe in. You can hope all you want Hell doesn't exist, and I wish it didn't and hope it doesn't but just in case it does, I am doing my best to live a life to the best I know how. Ya know, live by the Golden rule, as each person should anyways. Do onto others etc. tc Lost

There was a blog on here earlier talking about christians and how they should shut up about when it comes to hell. Funny, People are always concerning themselves with what other people say. My question is why do they care? Well? Aren't you caring to write about them?
If this individual does not want to believe in hell then so be it. But why complain that others do? But aren't you complaining about what he did?
Listen nonchristians, christians believe in hell Christians believe in all kinds of supernatural fantasies and myth. Satan and Hell just happen to be what keeps Christianity in business. Without fear mongering and the psychological abuses of guilt and eternal torment Christianity would need to beg for followers.
If you do not like christians talking about christianity then don't listen to them. There is no gun to your head forcing you. Well not if you discount the centries of forced indoctrinations, the dozens of Crusades, 500 years of Inquistions, Jewish Holocaust fed in part by inspiration from Martin Luther, Witch hunts, Lynchings, Religious Right and political destruction,etc....
Here is something very interesting. At the US Senate on July 12 2007 Christians openly disrupted the Senate when a Hindu was delivering the morning prayer. Three disruptor's, Ante Nedlko Pavkovic, Katherine Lynn Pavkovic and Christian Renee Sugar, from the Fundamentalist Christian activist group Operation Save America protested the Hindu prayer was "an abomination". The American Family Association organized its supporters to lobby the Senate to stop the the Hindu prayers given by a Hindu Chaplain Rajan Zed. Its obvious that Christians are psychopaths, ignorant, bigoted and just a sick bunch of people.
Here is the video of the actual disruption. Obviously this was being broadcasted on CSPAN2.

If we christians were perfect all the time then we would all be called Jesus. Well Jesus wasn't perfect. He does tell you hate your mother, father sister, brother,etc...else you can't be his disciple. And he called a woman and her daughter dogs because they were gentiles. Why did he did sleep with a young naked boy as we learn from Mark 14: 51-52? Well, then again he was human after all.

I suppose Christians get picked on a lot, because they did pick on others a lot during the ages. Yet, at the beginning of Christianity, it was great suffering to be a Christians.
As for hell.... I like your example about vegetarians.... The carnivors don't like to listen to them, even though they know that at least too much of meat is definitely not good for humans. And I suspect that some declared non-Christians aren't all that sure about the existance or non-existance of hell (yes, I knew some like that personally.... so don't say it's not true...) and therefore, they get mad when Christians talk about it. Simple insecurity transformed into a bad mood... It happens even to the best on a long day....
Either way, there is no reason to pick on each other....
(PS.... I'm a Christian.... and a carnivor...) .

People will criticize and degrade that which they do not believe ... that they do not believe to justify their behaviors and lifestyle ... which subconsciously many are afraid of good luck

Wow, that comment from hammertime is really crazy. Here is the passage from Mark 14:51-52;
51 Now a certain young man followed Him(Him being Jesus), having a linen cloth thrown around his naked body. And the young men(the ones arresting Jesus) laid hold of him, 52 and he(young man following Jesus) left the linen cloth and fled from them naked.
I am sorry, but how is this passage saying Jesus slept with a naked boy? Jesus at the time was getting betrayed by Judas and arrested by the guards.
As for the rest of the stuff you wrote, no where in my blog do I complain about what the person wrote I only ask why do you care? And from that blog I thought it was a great opportunity to give a christian perspective. You might want to reread my blog and rethink your comments. I am sure others are reading your comment and going 'huh?'
