When it comes to religion/faith you get many types of people and how they feel about it. For some it is the most important aspect of their lives. They live it, breathe it, love it and are happy to spreads it word. For some others it's what they believe in but not the most important part of their lives. Some know of it but don't do anything about it. Others also know of it but don't care either way. Some don't believe in it and keep that to themselves. And then there are those who don't believe in it, hate it and must constantly tell people how terrible it is. I would like to focus on this group of people.
We as people have been given a gift called life. We get one shot at this life. Life is not always easy or fun but at least we have the opportunity to live it. Every moment you live is one step closer to the end of your life. With that in mind I feel it is probably best if we try to live that moment and every moment as happy as possible. Now I know not everything in life makes us happy, but if we don't dwell on the bad things in life then we can return our attentions to the good things. Bad things never last for ever for most of us. People who often dwell too much on the bad things in life or the things they don't like often stress a lot as well. Those who don't dwell on bad things and fill there hearts with love not only don't stress as much, but live happier lives.
With this being said, why do some people choose to not only hate religion/faith, but dedicate a good part of their lives spreading that hate? When you are spreading hate that is not making you happy. For when you are consumed with hate you spend so much time dwelling on hate. Then when you spend so much time hating you are spending so little time loving. Do you think people who spend so much time hating are happy when they hate? Probably not. They spend so much time obsessing with hating religion that their happiness in life suffers. Can't love and hate at the same time unless you love hating, and loving hate is not really loving. There is no way you can hate so much and be happy while you hate. Can you imagine having a conversation with a hater of religion? Just imagine if the topic of religion comes up. You know as soon as it does that the conversation will turn into something that is not happy or good.
Haters of religion will tell you that religious people obsess over religion the same way that haters of religion obsess over hating it. But the big difference is that believers in religion spend their lives loving what they are doing and love what they are talking about so it makes sense for them to talk and dwell on it. Haters of religion of course hate religion so they spend their life dwelling on something they hate. You tell me who is living the happier life? Besides, every moment is passing by for all of us getting us one step closer to the end. So why would haters of religion waste those moments by obsessing over something they hate? Religious people are doing what they love; maybe haters of religion should find something that makes them happy instead of dwelling on what they don't like.
An example of all this can be shown like this. I am a Christian therefore I love to write blogs on my beliefs. That makes me happy so I am not wasting my moments not being happy. But then there are those on matchdoctor who go around looking for blogs like mine not because they like the subject matter but rather because they hate it. They are obsessed with hating it. So much so that they have to read it, comment on it, make their own blogs about it and let the whole world know just how much they hate it. Why waste that moment of your life that you will never get back on something you hate? You know you are not going to like what I have written so why read it? I can't imagine the hate someone must have for something to constantly dwell on it just because they do hate it. Doesn't sound like much fun. Maybe this is why they hate so much; they keep dwelling on it so it consumes them to the point where they never stop thinking about it. Is that any way to live a life, by obsessing over something you hate? Those people who read my blogs only because they hate the subject matter I feel sorry for. To me it is sad because I know that while they are reading it they are not happy and probably getting upset. The worse part is that they can't wait to respond and tell us how much they do hate it. Mark my words; there will be a response to this blog by them. They can't help it; they are obsessed with hating religion.

Isn't worshipping the dark lord a sort of religion? If so why piss on something good but choose to believe in something that we are taught is bad?
I will just listen to my Black Sabbath cd Heaven & Hell...you guys can fight it out!

And then there are those who don't believe in it, hate it and must constantly tell people how terrible it is Question.....is this not exactly what we are being asked and expected to do when using labels such as terrorist and 'axis of evil'?
Seems like it's easier (for lack of a better word) to develop our personal, daily living/praising, local community, et al, belief system as a positive, affirming part of our lives. But, transposing that to encompass the world is a challenge for which many of us lack the tools to embrace. JMHO

Tony Snow died today and it got me thinking. Wow he's my age and I'm not done living yet. I still have goals, I'm not ready to meet my Maker yet. My life here isn't finished. Am I still holding grudges? Is there something left unsaid, unfinished, who will care for my family? Did I leave an imprint of something good here on Earth, did I matter? Did I do what I was sent here to do? Wow so many questions left unanswered. tc Lost

i myself got bogged down with the rambling but the point i see here is that there is definitely a balance after all. the holy rollers that push their agenda on everyone versa those that supposedly hate religion and from there all the inbetweens. i profess to be a devout christian, if you choose to question that fact i am sure there are many in the holy roller rooms that attest to my devout Christianity. i do not wander among the sheep trying to sell my "religion". i feel that i have progressed to wolfhunter status and at the moment that is my calling. although, the most logical place to find wolves is among the sheep! LOL we be jammin
