Maybe some day women will stop with the cliche's like:
"really man enough to 'handle' a woman like that".
Do women really want to be 'handled' or do they want to be cared for?
Every relationship is a partnership of equals. Very few understand
what equal means. Very few. Do You ? (rhetorical question - please
do not loudly boast that you do).
Relationships last because both people 'allow' them to last instead
of using some lame excuse to accuse the other of not keeping up with
the changes that happen to all humans, not just a select few. They
last because both choose to allow the other to be just as fascinating

well, guess we just disagree then. Of course, I'm a woman speaking frmo a woman's point of view. 
But yeah, I have had men care for me, and to me....that just isn't enough. I don't need or want someone to just stare in my eyes for hours on end. I want someone who gets it. Participates.
But I get what you are saying about allowing people to be facinating. I just think that it is all the more facinating when you participate! Play together. Grow together!

Honestly..Ms Laugh...that is one of the Finest Blog's I have ever read.. no flattery intended, only truth.. 
I understand EXACTLY what you mean and I concur completely. You brought together isolated thoughts that jangle around my brain..pieces of paragraphs that i was trying to place together for a coherant subject matter. I knew it was important!
Quietly, and without preconceived notions, I hope that you gentleman will take to heart what Ms Laugh has to say in this blog...because it's very worth your time.

Great blog Very interesting blog and you see I love alot of your writing. In my whole life I had 11 years with first husband, and 1 1/2 years with american man, i learn alot of it and I still believe the first is the best but even I cry tons of tears I won't have him by my side and noone could have him either 15 years after we part is the proof that noone else can take his place except he is a better man ..I cry sometimes for the g..damnn life! but I 'd never be the one to waste my tears for unworthy guy, and I can withdrawn in a minute after he show me he is just a jerk,

While I haven’t dropped off a comment lately, I have kept up with all your blogs. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m especially fascinated by your ‘womanhood’ blogs. I often wonder if there are men who feel slightly voyeuristic when they read such blogs, as they’re given the opportunity to explore the female psyche in a way they might not have experienced before. That’s how I feel sometimes. For as much as I AM a woman, I never seem to feel that I ‘fit’ that image as you write it.
(thankfully, many years of angst have resulted in sufficient self-awareness that my identity is not caught up in the perception of others, else your blogs might ‘cause’ me an identity crisis of monumental proportions!)
Oh, and since I have your attention for the moment…enjoy the upcoming face-to-face!
