I'll start by saying that I miss the internet more than I thought I would.  I have been staying at my boyfriends and he doesn't have internet so I haven't been able to be online more than once or twice a week for the last month. Even then I only have time to check emails or look something up. Hopefully that will change in the next couple of weeks since I will be moving in with him and having the internet connected at his house.
He is a truck driver so he has no problem with me being online while he is out on the road. The last couple of weeks he has been making short runs and has been home most every evening so I haven't been coming back to my old house to log on very often.
He is also in the process of totally remodeling his home and is now including me in the decision making of how things will look. I have never designed a home from scratch before........it's fun choosing counter tops and cabinet designs. Luckily we both have pretty much the same taste so it has been easy so far. 
My son is in the process of moving into a home of his own with some friends of his and the friends I have been living with are also moving into a smaller home so things have been really hectic and confusing. I am handling my son not living at home a lot better than I thought I would. I think it is because I have my own life changes to deal with so I don't have time for the empty nest syndrome to kick in.
I also finally have my own vehicle again as soon as the rear brakes get replaced, which should be done by this weekend so I will be mobile again. After 4 months of relying on others to get me where I need to go it will be nice to just jump in my car whenever I want. 
I miss all of my online friends and hope to be back soon on a regular basis.

CartCart, I am sooooooooooooooooooooo happy things are going good with K...you deserve it. And Empty Nest syndrome? I get that on a daily basis just "thinking" about the day my son moves out (I am such a baby).
Can't wait to see pics of you and K....missed ya bunches....wanna go to the shed?

HEY CARTAY!!!  OMG! I'm so happy for you...yes I am!!! Good to hear from you and a wonderful report it is...
It's remarkable how things are falling into place for you....you don't even have to experience that old "empty nest syndrome"....that is a big hurdle that you didn't have to get past.
It sounds like you're gonna be so busy....but don't forget us...k? We...well ME....needs to hear the good stuff and maybe it'll keep my hopes up that it isn't too late for me...maybe?
But I am happy regardless. And I'm ecstatic for you....you so deserve happiness and it sounds like you found it. I wish you the best of everything!
