Recently, I was told by a blogger here (whose writing I absolutely adore and devour every time she posts!) that I should be ashamed that I have only posted one blog in all the time I have been on Matchdoctor. It was a good-natured response to my comment on her blog, and I took it as such, meant to prod me into action (I am sure). I offered the (lame) excuse that I have another blog where I post; one where I can hide behind anonymity without the fear of retribution or rejection. After thinking about this (sad little lame) excuse, I have decided I need to get over myself and get blogging. LOL Granted, I will probably choose my topics and my words carefully and save the more unabashed portrait of myself for the "mystery blog." It is just that I have started feeling a little guilty for reading blogs here, silently getting to know some of you through your words and your hearts, lovingly spilled on each page. The more I think about it, the more I feel like a voyeur; a peeping tom lurking at the window of your worlds while tightly closing my own blinds against prying eyes. So, I will begin by twisting the handle on my blinds, tilting them to allow a little light and a filtered view inside for now….baby-steps are a good beginning, right? LOL

commenting can give people a "glimpse" of your personality, views, and hobbies. the way we word things, even in a small comment, exposes a lot. or not...

Thanks for your coment Max! To me though, the fact that I have lurked in the blogs for so long without contributing my own is kind of selfish I guess. I think I have been at the edge of the pool with my toe stuck in it, testing the waters, for long enough. If I don't just jump in I may never learn to swim with the big fish.
