The American people don't care. As long as it's a woman her approval rating could be 1% wouldn't make a difference. These people would rather see a black president and a female speaker of the house even if that meant failure of the country.
Michigan is the same way. Historical job loss, ridiculous crime stats, soaring taxes, welfare the largest employer and the female governor? landslided right back into office. Mayor Kilpatirck, corrupt bastard still in office.

It is only July and people aren't paying attention yet. Congress stalled today by telling oil companys before they drill in Alaska they must give up rights to drill in other places. They also can't ship any oil overseas - have not done that in eight years but what happens it we get too much. Democrats want us to suffer.
