Hello Newpatches
That is really Something!! I believe there are odd spirits about...and I am a VERY big REALIST.. I don't go in for all the strange mumbo-jumbo..but I have had some experiences that I cannot equate out to anything in the here&now.
I stayed in a house while working in OH....It was an elegant 2 story with a rear garage. At the time I was watching a friend's gray Tabby Cat....A calm Cat who flat refused to stay in that house. He clawed and clawed like a maniac to get out. ..and would not come back in.. I had a large drafting table downstairs in what must have been the dining room. I would sit there sketching and above me would be stomping noises like marching boots..Then it would change to a shuffle like they took the boots off and walked in stocking feet.. FLIPPED ME OUT Grabbed a gun,...ran upstairs ...nothing.( All the upstairs rooms were empty of furniture..I only needed the downstairs) So I closed all the doors and came down stairs chaulking it up to..heat expansion or the house shifting..whatever.. (had to think of some excuse) Settling back down to draw...Next thing I knew, the stomping was back and now we had DOOR slamming. Up I went again and as I mounted the narrow winding staircase, i SWEAR an ice-cold breeze hit me the on the back of the neck and it was like WIND...Totally creeped me out.. from half way up that staircase I could see 2 of the closed doors were now open...I went back downstairs, called a friend to come over for the night and that was that....2 days later I left about 6 one dollar bills on the kithcen table along with a couple of dollars in various pocket change.. Took a shower came back out drying my hair with a towel and noticed all the change was gone...No One in the house...all doors locked..I chaulked it up to foregtfulness..until it happened 4 days later, again same circumstances. Finally...one afternoon I took a bath in the upstairs bathroom...the little wall heater didn't work...so that bath was a quickie due to cold. The knob was rusted in the off position and the heater was antiquated. After the bath, I pulled the plug to drain the water, shut off the lights and went downstairs...Got ready and went out for the evening. Much later that night in the dark..I pulled my car into the garage. Exiting the garage, i looked up to the second floor and the bathroom lights were on..Once again... I chaulked this up to my forgetting to shut them off. Letting myself into a LOCKED well-lit house..I made my way upstairs to the bathroom...the light was on..the heater was RED & going full blast and the tub was full of water...I would have blamed myself once again..but when i reached down to touch the water...it was WARM...
That was ENOUGH for me.. I moved out that week...minus one ghostie...And while it's true that the ghost or entity never did anything harmful to me..it definitely wanted me gone...and i acquiesed ....all quiklike
This is an absolutley TRUE story..not embellished, one iota. Silk

You are not crazy. I know many will want to tar and feather folks for believing but I have had WAY too many experiences to not believe.
The house I live in right now has had it's share of activity... Lights that go on and off on their own, footsteps in the attic, disembodied voices, things being moved both unseen and SEEN. I know this would scare most folks, but it doesn't bother me. I know I am safe here, and if anything they are protective of me and my children. For instance, one night, I invited in a date. We entered through the side door (which is where I always enter) through the dining room. The table was in the middle of the room, and you had to walk around it to go to the living room (which is where we were headed.) As we rounded the table, one of the chairs flew out and pinned him to the wall! I know how mean this is going to sound, but even though there was sheer terror in his eyes, I had to laugh. I looked at him and between stiffled giggles said, "I think you should probably leave." At this point, the chair tucked itself back under the table and he bolted out the door, never to be heard from (at least by me) again. They apparently did not like him.

Well New, you'll never hear disparaging remarks from me on that subject. Having lived through some "interesting" experiences, I don't scoff at anyone else's.

If you've ever had an unseen finger run through your hair, you'll believe.
Yes, I'm sure he is watching over you and is popping in at times to say, "Hi".

YOU ARE NOT ALONE--------I was reading the blogs and had to comment after reading yours. Mine was a voice in the shower . It called my name and after the 3rd time I ran out of the bathtub so quickly I almost broke my neck . Now I know they can come through water, electricity , and things like that. I have had many experiences in my life but that scared me to death. Then after I started listening to COAST TO COAST radio after midnight I soon understood that millions of people are going through this . I have learned about everything from ghosts to aliens , You can find it on your local talk station on your radio am or fm or just go to COAST TO COAST RADIO . It comes on at midnight to 5am. GEORGE NOORY , You will learn a lot and understand more. And you will feel good knowing you are one of many . Just don,t let it scare you .

I am psychic (Scottish Highlander with whole family of seers running about with silly grins on their faces) and also do paranormal investigations. Everything you speak of is absolutely normal and recounts common interactions of spirits with the living...
You might try a digital recorder and then try to record conversations with the ghost when activity is kicking up. Then just listen after the fact for answers. You may find it to be surprising! Remember to ask a question and then wait 20 seconds before the next question - That's just common courtesy for the spirit who must summon the energy to interact with you...
