There are few things more rewarding than a new hobby or finding a previous unknown talent we posses. Sometimes they are self discovered, others are placed there by a friend who takes the time to help you along the way. Friends spark your interest with their own love of the hobby or talent.
I can still remember the girl who taught me how to dance. She has long gone out of my life but I still think of her and the many hours of fun I have enjoyed on the dance floor. Because of her love of dance and wanting to share it with others I can dance. What a blessing that was. Something I will enjoy for years to come.
Another blessing that was given me years ago was from a girl that I was dating at the time. For my birthday she gave me a present of a toy harmonica. It came with a song book, and a cassette tape giving lessons on how to play. After many hours of making awful sounds I gained the ability to play the harmonica. I now own five in different keys. I never dreamed I would ever play an instrument. Now when I pick up my harmonica I think of her and this gift given me many years ago.
A recent gift/hobby was given me right here at md. Looking for a sweetheart I stumbled onto the world of blogging. I was so impressed with the writing talent here at md. I thought I would love to give it a try but I knew my grammar was so bad I would have been too embarrassed to post anything. That is when a friend offered her help and with that blessed me with a new hobby that I am enjoying so much. Without her taking the time to teach, correct, and inspire me, I would never have written a word. So now I want to thank her and give credit where credit is due. Thank You Lacy from the bottom of my heart. Hugs Paul

I find people are so much more interesting when they take it upon themselves to find a hobby or something that interests themselves. Couch potatoes soon become boring and the relationship dies quickly, keep up the good work and sparks I'm sure will continue to fly  tc Lost
