Well done America. We cut back our consumption of gasoline and look what happened. Prices are dropping. I saw gas for 3.65 this afternoon.
Now let's not start driving as much again just because the price is coming down. Just one hurricane in the gulf and they will jack the price up again.

The cheapest gas is around here was $3.92...I'd give my last born (as she is the only one left at home and driving me nutz!
) for $3.65
OH, and...ummm...

I for one will continue to be very cautious with my gasoline usage. These oil companies have to be making record profits.
I believe the government shouldn't give them any tax breaks.
I hope they have to pay extra taxes for taking advantage of the people that have no choice but to purchase their goods.

They just had a oil spill in Mississippi in which they are thinking it is going to affect the air and water quality...so the oil co. will probably use that as an excuse to jack back up the prices.
Glad to see the prices going down again myself....and yes it doesn't mean let's go out and buy the biggest SUV out there today.

Gas is $4.50 here in CA, we have special 'summer gas' with less pollutants so they really get us.
If we don't start investing in other sources of energy all will just get worse. Drilling for more oil won't help...don't listen to the oil companies, they are in it to make money.
Register to vote and vote! It will scare the heebie jeebies out of the politicians if people started voting!!

From 4.17......to 3.99 here in indiana......and you call this a savings?.......I think the gas companies did just what they wanted to do to the american people....make them think its a bargain....talk to me when they drop below 3.00 a gallon...and we can say we are getting a better deal.........cookie

I've always enjoyed long drives to the mountains, however due to the crazy gas prices I'm trying to not do so much "luxury" driving anymore. I discovered a nice woodsy area near me that I can walk or bike too and unwind.
I'm hoping things will get better with gas prices and stay that way.

I just paid $3.78 yesterday, but I also think becoming less dependent on foreign oil and starting our own drilling might begin to have some effect also. Awards for using electric cars, and more air, solar and other incentives are out there too now, so the effect is beginning to take place as they said would happen, to help lower prices. tc Lost
