Today was a first for me and I thought it is such a good story I would write about it.

So often I try to mix things I like toghether into one big event. Today it was riding he motorcycle which I love to the Barnes and Noble book store (love books) and since they have a coffee bar I had to have coffee since that stuff is my liquid diet.

Needless to say I am sitting there reading magazines. The first was Cycle which I read a bit about new motorcycles and such. The next one was Cosmo where I ended up reading all the good girly stuff I can devour. A good article was titled "guy secrets." The funny thing was as I read some of the things I already knew and others reminded me I still have some homework to do. Smiles.

There is a guy that comes to the book store that is drop dead georgous and heavily educated being a chemistry fellow at the local college. Add to it he has a great personality and you have Katie dreaming. Ahh but as with many things in life he is not available since he is married. Sooo all along we have had some interesting discussions over the months and I secretly like him but it's pointless so we just talk.

As you might guess he showed up and sat near me and we started talking about this and that as usual. Then the new dimension came into play. A woman walks up and sits down next to him and the conversation stops between us and his attention turns to her. I look at her and smile and she shoots me that wicked smile that can only say one thing. He is hers!!!!!!!!!!!!


So I went back to reading my magazines and carefully listened to thier conversation while I smiled to myself. I was looking out of the corner of my eye to see if she did anything like mark him like a cat marks its terratory and needless to say I didnt catch that but the conversation between them seemed tense.

After a few minnutes the wife got up and said goodby and as soon as she was gone I asked him about it and teased him as to how the atmosphere changed and he laughed and said she is a bit protective.

Within five minnutes his phone rang and guess what? It was her and needless to say it was time for him to go!!! I was just laughing to myself and I soooo wanted to take the phone from him and tell her something like girl you dont have to worry married people are just for looking at.

Needless to say this was a big first for me and I loved every minnute of it. That poor wife needs therapy and the hubby must have to put up with some serious crap. The joys of life I guess.
