it was part of a spy movie on tcm tonight. i just saw it. its a long time
since indians roved and roamed taking pot shots at pioneers.
as chief morning star in indian guides i applaud the great
books by shirley maclaine, like 'out on a limb' when she
investigated claims of swedish people and peruvian
indians, the inca and pizarro's people and the murder
of francisco cordoba who had gone to arrest
pizarro for malfeasance in office and mistreatment of indians
on assigment for the queen of spain. many treaties
had been made. invariably they were broken one
by one all of them. broken arrow. good tv series
many years ago. i've seen it myself indians
still fighting to regain control of their land.
firing automatic weapons at sheriffs cars.
right in my own sector. sad really.
apaches. so many indians or wetbacks
as the plantation owners call them
are literally worked to death.
us customs officers work both
sides of the fences trying to
bring the murderers to justice.
its just slave labor en masse
