Just to let all of my friends know, I was diagnoised with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma this year. I have under gone major surgey and chemo this year. I am awaiting test results to see if it is gone. I put down on my profile that I am a light smoker, well this has changed, I quit smoking in March 2008 and I am somke free and gonna stay that way! I dont have all that beautiful long hair right now, it all fell out. But hoping to get it all back before winter hits.
Thanks for understanding. If you smoke quit while you can. I thought I wouldnt get cancer and when i was gonna quit...I got it. So really think about quiting, Chantix is a very good pill to use to quit...I used it.

Congrats on quitting smoking. The lymphoma is a bummer; however, my friend Howard walked the same walk...chemo, radiation, hair loss, the whole 9 yards. Thankfully he's fine. That was over a decade ago and is now just a bad memory. Good luck to you.

Hi Kim... congratulations on giving up the smoking, it is not an easy task. Things will only get better from this point, it's amazing how much the body repairs itself when we stop abusing it. There is also alot of information out there on the net related to cancer fighting nutrition, it might be worth taking a look, just google it if you are interested. And best wishes with your test results, keep your spirits up and never stop fighting.
