Well, folks in blogland, I can access Match Doctor again this evening. A few minutes after I posted the last one, Big Brother did something to my AOL connection so it would freeze every time I tried to get on the blog section of Match Doctor. The truth hurts!
Two weeks ago I woke up to seeing a bulldog gone crazy with gun powder attacking my Explorer, which sits about five feet from my front door. Over $300 of damage was done. Gun powder is used by dog fighters down here in Bushland to make the poor animals go crazy. This particular dog was frothing at the mouth and thought my car was a dog, since I often cart my three herd dogs around in it.
Another unpleasant sight this morning. The chipmunks that I have enjoyed watching outside my bedroom window had just become meals for a huge snake at least six feet long. The snake was last seen crawling into the chipmunk den and didn't come out. Now I have to look forward to a big bad snake attacking my car I guess!
I'm not a Gold Member so I can't attach the photo of the three bulges of Alvin, Simon and Theodore in Mr. Snake the Terrorist! I will post it with my regular photos for awhile.
Time to watch a movie.

I know this is terrible but the way you wrote this was pretty funny... Poor Chipmunks I have never seen real ones but hey I am glad they are/were in your yard I cannot imagine their singing at all hours with out me wishing for said snake..
I hope that the dog got some help or that the animal control came and got it. I dislike fighting dogs I have had cats dissapear because it is sport to the handlers to allow their dogs to come by homes and snatch up poor cats.. It could be that the next time you take your dogs out that this mad dog would not just target your Explorer...

I too found this to be just a little bit on the funny side. No, it WAS funny. And it's just life.
I made the mistake once by shooting "near" two pit bulls that were trying to eat my cat. Next time I'll unload the full clip into them. No different than an alligator or a lion.

Here is the rest of the story on the bull dog crazed with gunpowder. The yahoos down the street think I am rich because I mow my lawn. Some sleezeball lawyer down in Cherokee County convinced them that they could win all sorts of money in a suit if they could make it look like my three Scottish Herd Dogs were killer monsters. So for the past two months they have pulling all sorts of outlandish stunts with their video cameras ready. One family were so certain of hitting the jackpot that they set a video camera and Canine One Sonic dog attractor in their open garage, and then went on an impromtu beach vacation. They expected to find lots of video tape of my dogs running around inside their garage. Instead they got lots of videos of their buddy's bull dog chasing a cat inside their garage. They evidently charged the vacation, and now are in a financial panic as to how to pay for the time on the beach.
The owner's of the bulldog tied up somebody else's foofoo dogs in their front yard and put somebody's little yahoo toddler in a baby chair on the street. Their plans were for my three dogs to rush out and kick the bull dogs butt (which they have done several times before) and then chase it down the street to hillbilly heaven.
Well, my dogs never got outside that morning, but you can imagine how angry they were that a yahoo dog was in THEIR yard and attacking THEIR personal mode of transportation. I have two glass front doors so the dogs could see everything. The stupid yahoo dog hear my dogs barking but thought the barking was coming from the car.
When the police arrived the bull dog attacked the police. They were about to shoot it when another patrol car drove up for back up. Then the bull dog ran back home and in his frenzy bit the foo foo dogs that were tied up in the yahoo's front yard. The owners of the bulldog got hit with a citation and a $500 fine because their dog attacked the police.
Now, there was a problem when I called my insurance company. In the 64 year history of the company, they had never had a claim for a dog attacking a parked car. It took them about an hour to figure out how to type the claim in their computer system.
Amerika! What a country!
