However, I forgot to marinate properly. The lesson of the day is that hot ovens are hot, and that metal conducts heat. Therefore I can conclude that the metal piece connected to the hot oven (especially hinges) are hot as well. I feel scientifical.
So, my friends mom told me about this site. My friends mom also happens to be a middle age heterosexual women with a burning love of internet dating sites that happen to be exclusively straight. Imagine my surprise when I went to sign up here and found that men for men was a viable option. Needless to say, I was elated. I starve constantly for things that are exciting and new. Although, I have to say I'm not exactly thrilled with the rules restricting what I put into a blog. I mean, I love to ask questions and get feedback through comments, but I guess if it's not allowed I'll have to watch myself.
I suppose that's what I have myspace for. Although, the premise of a dating site that has blogs as such a key focus point grabbed my attention right away. I mean, my target audience is readily available, and this is going to be read quite possibly by total strangers. What on this planet could be more gratifying than that, without creating a mess: nothing, well some things. In any event, I suppose this could be useful for posting recent traumas, dates, etc.
Anyway, back to cooking myself. I work as a cook for a small live theater in Virginia, I absolutely love my work, even with my tendency to brush hot objects with my flesh. The money is decent, and the work is wonderful. I always wanted to cook, but rarely did it. Now, I spend at least seven hours a day doing enjoyable things. The good is: spending so much time preparing and making the same stuff for weeks on end means the deliciousness is kept in my brain and I can recreate it without scrounging for a recipe card. The bad is: I can usually only create it on buffet scale. I hope people I love are hungry.
