I am finally here, living with the man that is to become my
husband in a few short months! 
Oh the joy! 
Oh the WORK! 
Let me tell you, he NEEDS me!
He came home from work yesterday, and
looked in the kitchen cabinet I had cleaned out, and rearranged,
I told him it didn't have to stay that way, just a suggestion.
He was FLOORED!  He said he had never had his cereal all lined up
before. In so many ways, he is not the typical man, but when it
comes to organizing a house... 
We were worried that his Black Lab GUARD dog would eat up my little Casey girl.
HA HA HA! He is the typical male... Scared to death of her!
If she moves her head suddenly, he jumps! 
We also worried about how his female cat would do around my "boys".
They have been "fixed" she hasn't. She went into heat this week...
they just ignore her! Like a typical female, she doesn't like that
at all. 
We are battling the Florida Fleas, so if anyone has any suggestions
of how to get them out of the yard, before they invade the house, please let us know.
We are finally finding out that we do have a few differences... He
hates okra, I hate yogurt. However, both of us HATE CLOTHES!!!
The sex... Lets just say IF there had been any second thoughts, they are L O N G gone for us both now!!!

I am just SO psyched for you two!!!
I'm LMAO because immediately rearranging/reorganizing kitchen cabinets (and linen closets) has always been my "thing" in a "batchelor pad" (or boat) of I was planning to spend more than a week there.  It's usually been appreciated (or at least tolerated  ) because I've given fair warning in advance about one of my little obesseive/compulsive foibles/quirks.  
Hey, it's too hot in a tropical climate to wear clothes  ...as I know firsthand.

I envy your togetherness....but oh I don't like Florida...that could change somewhat in about a foot of snow...  But since I don't do nekkid I guess good ole Indiana works for me.

Organic Diatomaceous Earth in the yard and boric acid in the house. Be sure to not mop for awhile and redo the boric acid after it dries when you do mop. It usually takes a month to work but it is great! Mask when powdering.
Also, you can use nematodes for the yard. There are several kinds to get. See what OTHER types of bugs you have that you want to whack before ordering the nematodes. http://www.buglogical.com/
