I have to laugh at some of the names of websites these days. Usually, people want something easy to type... easy to remember. Florida Power & Light did it right with fpl.com that makes sense. But you must be careful as boa.com brings up some rogue website and NOT Bank Of America (it's found at bankofamerica . com)
In the early days of internet, I was helping my niece with a class project on The White House... silly me and my internet savvy COMPLETELY forgot governments, schools and the like have their own sections... .gov .edu .org (for example) So there I was typing in: whitehouse.com thinking it would bring up The White House. Instead, I got to see some front page of a pornsite complete with near naked women inviting me to click to come on inside!
That was the last time I did that.

I am totally illierate "surfing the net" so I too have come up with some really weird...and nasty stuff. It's scary out there in cyber space, that's for sure!

happened to my daughter she was looking up something completely innocent and she called me over and said look...I was shocked at the site that came up 
Now I taught Mom to surf the net, I"ll let her stumble upon some surprises

I typed in OBAMA.COM......got a calender that counts down til the end of time........you think it really means anything ??
