Communication is the key ingredient in any relationship.Many relationships and marriages break down due to the lack of open and honest communication with another.Outward appearances can be deceiving when meeting someone.It really takes time and alot of communication to get to know someone.So don't rush it.

	I totally agree! However I think how you communicate is also very important.. I never assumed my ex husband had a crystal ball and just knew what I needed or how I felt about something, I’d tell him… He on the other hand would become very defensive and start placing blame… I’d have to say… Look, I’m not putting you down or blaming you for anything.. I’m just telling you how I feel.. He would keep everything inside and not tell me what was wrong.. Even when I asked… I’d explain if he would tell me what was wrong and not go around banging things and stomping his feet and slamming things around, we could come to an understanding. That never happened.. I even begged him to go to counseling with me.. He refused! It just can't work if only one is willing to talk and listen. My ex b/f would want to communicate when we were still too upset.. Nope that never worked… I prefer to go and calm down and then talk things calmly and rationally.. You can’t come to an understanding when you both are just too emotionally charged…
