Most of us have heard the expression "you look like you have lost your best friend" Of course there are the very few who never stop smiling and it is those I wish to stick their heads in an old time washing machine wringer just to see them writhe for a minute or two... Not really, but surely you have had that though cross your mind too! Now back to the topic... I lost mny best friend about two years ago. Last November I lost mt Dad. Then last month I lost my Grandmother so if there hs been any sadness revealed in my eyes it is only an indication of the pain within of loss. Last night I was shocked to find a letter in my email box which stated that the sender had found my name online and was answering my request for information on my best friend from High School, Phern Asapunth. Phern was a foreign exchange student from Thailand and this lady writing knew him well and had an old address. but a newer one than I had. She also updated me on several events of his life which I was unaware. It puts me one step closer. Already I have a letter written to him which will go into the USPS on Monday morning. Yipeeeee!!!
So today I may look like I have found my best friend and hopefully I have enough information to communicate again. Time will tell.
