My beliefs are mine and mine alone and I never attempt to force them on anyone....not even the tzus. It is a private issue between me and my higher power. That said....I don't particularily want to hear, at length, about someone else's, especially if I am hearing about it because they are trying to 'convert' me or 'save' me. I have never quite figured out what they want to save me from....vicious tzu attacks maybe.... I do have a theory though, which I am going to share....you don't have to agree with it....it is not written in stone....it is just MY theory and it works for me. Those that have to run around telling everyone what good Christians they are probably aren't....if they were all that they wouldn't need to waste time and energy convincing others that they are....it would be obvious by their actions and words. As the saying goes....those that can are busy doing....those that can't sit around and brag how wonderful they can....

And now that I have your attention....some other little tidbits from the warped mind of maggie....

The Jerry Springer Show's theme music should be Dueling Banjos
All kudos meant for Fender should be suspended until she releases the triangle
Chocolate should be tax deductible as a required medication for what ails you

I'm right with ya... I love the people that come to my door and I can't get rid of them. When I tell them I'm not a Christian they ask if I don't care about my kids. I didn't know I didn't care about my kids! Of course, I don't care about my kids. Here I thought turning out a couple of decent people who do their best to live their best lives, walk lightly on the earth and be kind was the way to go about it. I'll change my ways right now and change my religon just for YOU. There's the way to make friends and influence people... tell them they are bad parents.

Makes me wanna get one of my swords and chase em off the porch. Getting back to the boonies will be a relief!.

I have a couple of customers at the store that are always telling me about religion and being saved and stuff... sadly, I have to be nice to them. But I'm glad they are happy but sheesh. I hear it over and over from the same people... AND they leave tracts on my tables and stuff.

Also, my profile clearly states that I'm not into religion but I get a zillion mails... scammers mostly I guess, that tell me how great they think it is I'm a christian woman and they are looking for someone just like ME.

If *I* was gonna send scam mails, I'd pick something out of their profile and use that to draw them in.

Good job, wolfiemylass, tell them scammers how to do it right!

My momma always told me "a self bragger was half scandal" I try to remember that every time I want to toot my own horn. A person's life should tell people who they are, not their mouth.

When my son was younger, his stepmom saw the religious people coming down the street door to door. She told my son, "You answer the door, tell them I'm not here!" So the religious people came and asked my son for his mom. His reply? "She said to tell you she's not here."

Hey Sis, see my NEW blog...Yes, indeedy, GOOD CHRISTIANS DO BAD THINGS...and then seem to expect a butt wipe of their crap will erase all the pain and devastation they cause......

Lately, SC Charismatic Christians seem to be arguing the difference between CHRISTIANS OF THE LAW (Legalistics) and Christians of THE SPIRIT (New Covenant). Basically, the argument is that, if you're a Christian that TEACHES LOTS OF RULES, you're living BY THE OLD LAW, which, according to their critics, means YOU DON'T BELIEVE THAT CHRIST CHANGED THE INSTRUCTIONS, BROUGHT A NEW COVENANT.

Kinda like Exclusionism for Charismatics 101
