For those of you who have shown an interest and have offered up prayers and words of encouragement, Baby Christopher is going home tomorrow. After starting out at 1 lb. and 11oz., he is now a whopping 4 lbs.11 oz! After spending 11 weeks in the NICU and overcoming a lot of setbacks, the doctors have said they will release him tomorrow. My son and daughter in law will "room in" with him tonight to get some last minute training and experience and then he is all theirs. Yes, he's a miracle. There appears to be nothing wrong with his little body at all and he has exceeded all expectations. Thank you to all of you who have prayed for him as he fought for his life. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.

Congrats!!! I'm so happy for you. There's something special about every baby... but that extra special bit about a lil guy who fights so hard to keep himself in the world!
My last kid weighed 10 lbs... your wee one was 1/10th her size! I can't even imagine how scary that is!
